  Characteristics

  The inverter generator KS 4000iES ATS has a built-in ATS unit and can be operated both manually and automatically.
  
  The OFF-RUN switch on the right side of the generator combines the fuel tank switch, the internal 12V power switch, and the ignition switch. When the generator is not in use, it should be kept in the OFF position to prevent discharge of the built-in lithium battery in the generator. The generator comes with a disconnected battery that must be connected during the first commissioning, located under the left side cover. The battery is charged by the internal charging module as soon as the generator is running or when 230V voltage is connected to MAINS INPUT (regardless of the switch position).
  
  MAIN INPUT 230V connection is monitored as soon as the switch is set to RUN and the ATS SWITCH is set to ON. If the 230V voltage at MAINS INPUT fails, the ATS control starts the generator and switches its 230V output to inverter mode.
  
  KS 4000iES ATS has 2 x 230V outlets that are differently connected depending on the generator version.
  Both 230V outlets are active both when running from MAINS INPUT and when running from the generator.
  
  Both 230V outlets provide the same system (IT, TN, TT) as MAINS INPUT when running from MAIN INPUT. The generator must be earthed in TT and TN systems with a copper conductor of 6-10 mm² (depending on local regulations) by connecting its grounding screw to the same grounding busbar where the MAINS 230V power source is grounded.
  
  The two outlets after switching the power supply to the generator provide only IT grid without the grounded neutral wire. Therefore, regulations and protective measures for the IT system must be observed.
  
  With this version of the generator, you can secure power consumers that can function in both TN and IT grids. Complete home electrification in automatic mode is not possible!
  
  If you want to provide individual power consumers or their groups (houses, offices, etc.) in the TN system with the grounded neutral wire in automatic mode, we recommend using version 2 of the generator KS 4000iE S ATS Version 2

  ATS UNIT
  The generator is equipped with an internal ATS unit. The ATS unit monitors the voltage from the main power source, starts the generator in case of power outage, and switches the load to be supplied by the generator. The ATS unit switches back to the main power source when it returns and shuts off the generator.
  
  ERGONOMIC CONTROL PANEL
  The ergonomic control panel is equipped with an LED display, an ECO mode button, a RESET button to reset the electronic overload protection triggered in the inverter module, and restore the power supply. Microprocessor control monitors the key parameters. The oil shortage protection shuts down the generator in case of low oil level.
  
  REDUCED NOISE LEVEL
  The noise-insulating shell provides a noise level (66 dB Lpa 7 m), easy to use and convenient to transport. It is equipped with a transport kit for easy mobility.
  
  GENERATOR WITH 100% COPPER WINDING
  The high-quality brushless generator with permanent magnets and 100% copper winding can handle high loads, ensuring a durable and reliable operation of the generator.
  
  TRANSPORT KIT
