Effective and natural game treatment
The browsing wildlife has a significant impact on the Swedish forest. Browsing damages mainly occur in young forests when the branches are tender and easily accessible to wildlife. Different tree species react differently to browsing, but generally browsing causes lower production, poorer quality, and lower vitality of the plants. Studies have shown that pine seedlings browsed in the first year never recover, and up to half of them die even with moderate browsing. Game treatment is a profitable measure even at low browsing frequencies. In many cases, it is a prerequisite for successful regeneration.
UsageTrico can be used on a variety of tree species such as spruce, pine, larch, birch, and other deciduous trees without negative impact on the plants. The substance is gentle on the plant and can be used year-round. The wildlife protection agent consists of an emulsion of animal fat and water with a small addition of emulsifier and white color for you to easily see which plants have been treated but at the same time not too much white color to not affect photosynthesis.
Trico is a ready formulation that should be used without dilution, and application can be done with a backpack sprayer or other spraying equipment. To achieve long-lasting effect, Trico should dry in. Therefore, treatment should not be done in the risk of fog, frost, or rain. Trico is water-resistant once dried. The top of the plant is treated, but the plant otherwise does not need to be sprayed.
In cold weather, the agent should be stored at room temperature the day before use. It is important to carefully stir the agent before use.
Dosage
The dosage depends on the plant's size and the presence of wildlife. The recommended dose is 3 to 4 ml per plant. If the plants are small and you have good spraying equipment, the dose can be 3 ml. When treating larger plants and trees, the dosage is increased. Normal usage is 7 to 10 liters per hectare. - Product groups
