  HippoProtein Alfa
  
  is a protein-rich pelleted ready-made feed for all horses with an extra need for protein, such as growing young horses. The feed also suits normally fed horses that are fed with a protein-lacking roughage.
  It is a palatable and gentle feed with soy flour as the main source of protein. Soy flour contains high-quality protein with an amino acid composition that is beneficial for the horse, including high lysine content.

  The fiber level is high while the starch level is low, which is generally positive for the horse's gut health. Oats are one of the sources of starch in the feed, which contributes to high small intestine digestibility and is combined with a high percentage of green flour, providing the horse with extra gentle energy. HippoProtein Alfa contains natural vitamin E and organic selenium for optimal absorption and increased immune defense.
