  Wax cake mold made of aluminum in Langstroth format for casting wax cakes in a sturdy construction. The two parts are held together with hinges and a handle facilitates opening and closing. Melted wax is poured over the opened aluminum mold. Then the mold is closed and loaded with even pressure. After the wax has solidified, the mold is opened and the wax cake can be lifted out. The edges are trimmed with preferably item 602440.
